Tonight the 2 year old’s debut going 220 yards. I always enjoy watching the works for these babies and trying to decipher who the runners are. Huge props to Los Alamitos for making those works available to view for free at https://www.losalamitos.com/Workouts.aspx?id=2. I thought there were some chances to get a price or two in both pick 4s tonight. They are not easy though.
I will not be able to put out a report in two weeks, April 2 and 3. I will be traveling that weekend to Boise to be with my son Joshua and granddaughter Zoey and grandson Landon. April 3 will be one year since my son Justin past. I wrote about Justin in my September 22 blog if you are a new subscriber to the report. I will pause subscription plans that weekend so you will not be charged.
Here is a look at how I see tonight shaping up.
Race 1 - 4½ Furlongs Clm 2500n2x THREE YEAR OLDS AND UP
8 Autism Ability (5/2) last raced on November 27 and closed nicely against a tougher group of horses. I like her to be closer early on the class drop and is the only entrant that can break the 52 second barrier. 4 Soul Prodigy (7/2) was declared a nonstarter last out after he false broke from the gate. He should contend early and may get the lead outright going into the turn. 2 Above the Law (12/1) drops in class and can be forwardly place as well. He showed good speed at Los Al back in September when going 1000 yards. 6 Run Manny Run (8/1) has enough early speed to be in it after the break. Last out he reared and lost the jockey at the start. He ended up running a riderless second to Moogie Cat (4/1) who had everything go right in winning that race. I cannot endorse him tonight.
