Last Sunday was a solid one for The Edge Report. Multiple on top winners got the job done and some underneath picks ran well to trigger some decent trifecta and superfecta payouts. BEST BET Sonic Breeze scored nicely while getting bet down to 5/2 off a 7/2 morning line. I had that one singled in my rolling pick 3s and late pick 4. Tonight’s card is a contentious one. There are potential prices all over it. I only have 2 morning line favorites as my top picks. Putting together smart tickets will be key.
Race 1 - 1000 Yards Mdn 18k FILLIES, MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UP
9 Easter Coming Back (4/1) has flashed good speed against much better at Santa Anita before caving each time midway. 1000 yards may be the perfect distance for her. 2 Lookin for Rosie (5/2) was up by four lengths into the stretch last out but ended up losing be a length and a half after shortening stride. She is lightly raced and could be coming into her best effort. 6 Plum Creek (6/1) is now in the Sergio Morfin barn and he puts blinkers on her. With a little more early speed she could be in the second flight early on and be in it late to hit the board. 4 Olivia's Kid (5/1) is a first time starter for Jesus Nunez who has posted two solid works in March in preparation for her debut. 7 Smiling Widow (6/1) showed improvement last out and is probably one to use in the exotics in this 10 horse field.
