Trying to enjoy my summer vacation but it seems to always get jammed packed before I know it. I had hoped to travel to Los Al for a weekend of racing but couldn’t make it happen. I have a couple of weeks until heading to Idaho to get the grandkids then off to San Diego, probably my favorite city in California. We are going to be hitting the beach, Wild Animal Park, Zoo and Sea World. I will get back in time to start getting ready for the volleyball season. We start practicing the 3rd week in July. Here is tonight’s analysis. I am hoping my longshot pick can come through in race 3.
Race 1 - 1000 Yards Mdn 17.5k FILLIES, MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UP
7 Cyber Storm (3/1) ships in from Turf Paradise after two starts in which she has shown some early pace. Without any others that look like they want to run up front she will have the advantage as the outside speed. Stay Zappy (3/1) has been off since October after two starts as a 2 year old. She faced maiden special weight in both tries and adds blinkers which may help her be more involved early. 6 Wild Ruler (5/2) has found trouble in most starts including her debut 5th at this distance in her only try at Los Alamitos. 4 Yaleo (5/1) followed the speed around the track last out in a 3rd place run as this level. 2 Lights Aster (8/1) tried to run up front in her last start but will be better served laying off the pace and passing horses in the lane as seen in a couple of her better starts.
