I loved two horses last night. The first, Captain Scotty was a late scratch. The second, Call It Close lost by a whisker at 9/1 in the finally. Those long shot beats are the toughest. If you bet quarter horse racing for as long as I have those type of finishes are the norm but being on the wrong side of one never gets easier.
