The Edge Report had some good feedback after last Sunday’s card at Los Al. It is always good to hear when subscribers are cashing winning tickets. Here are some of the positive comments I received via twitter or email.
@EDDives “Small P4 x2 with the scratch and much thanks to your selections - thank you 👍🏼”,
@1ProJeff “Unfortunate for the connections of the 4 horse, but good call on My Game Plan! Great night!! I made lots!! Your picks were spot on tonight.”
In an email a subscriber wrote in part, “Congrats on a great first year. I'm probably considering one of those first annual subscribers. It's been a great year. I'm profitable for the first time over an entire year, for a reason other than luck. (While I'm writing this, I hit the R2 trifecta at $293)
Here is tonight’s analysis.
Race 1 - 1000 Yards Mdn 15k MAIDENS, THREE YEARS OLD AND UP
There looks to be lone speed in Ketchup (2/1) entered here and this one may be up by 5+ lengths entering the turn. She gained the lead easily in her last while running for the first time in over a year. I expect she needed that race and will be fitter for this one. She Loves Karaoke (8/5) ran on the same night as my top pick last out and finished well after falling back five lengths early on. Her final time was faster than that of Ketchup’s. Surf Ranch (8/1) can outpace the rest of the field to the turn. He could be a clear second heading to the stretch. Maui Road (7/2) has passed horses late in his last three tries.
