The ESPN special segment about my son and the connection he made with Justin Simmons of the Denver Broncos following his death is scheduled to air tomorrow morning during NFL Countdown. I don’t know the time specifics other than it will run some time during that broadcast. It will be an emotional thing to see for my family and I but we are looking forward to it and hope it will bring more awareness to organ donation and how that selfless act can save lives.
Not a bad weekend last Saturday and Sunday for The Edge Report. It seemed like I had quite a few second pick winners for some reason. That can be good and bad depending how your wagers are structured. A couple of them were some pretty good prices that sparked some nice payoffs.
Five Trials to the Los Alamitos Super Derby are on tap tonight the first of which is pretty stacked!
Race 1 - 1000 Yards Mdn 16k MAIDENS, THREE YEARS OLD AND UP
Democrat (8/5) looks to have enough speed to be on the lead. Charles Treece claimed this him two back for $20k so must think he has a good one. Crookhaven Pass (5/1) showed he can close at this distance two back when rallying for 2nd. Lockwood (3/1) will be contending with my top pick on the front end. If he is going to win he cannot let Democrat cross over on him from the outside heading into the turn. Maui Road (20/1) can definitely outrun those morning line odds and hit the board at price. This one will be in my exotics.
Race 2 - 1000 Yards Alw 20000n3L THREE YEAR OLDS AND UP
